Course : Financing and Economics of Climate Change
  Content
This course aims to provide a general understaning of the current mechanisms and landscape of climate change finance opportunities and the type of climate change mitigation and adaptation project taht they can support. Participants in this course will gain specific hkowledge on how to apply for, access, utilize and provide accountability foe the use of climate financing.

 

 Note
 
 
Throughout the course, each participant is expected to finalize a project Implementation Plan for their city/community, build upon the principles and criteria of local economic activation. The Implementation plan will be developed during working group sessions and by individual work. During the course, participants will be supported and guided by resource people and provided with practical tools. Prior to the course, participants will need to collect basic data and information from their city, on which they will build their specific Implementation Plan.
 
 What to learn?
 
 
Through the comprehensive introduction and sharing policies and integrated strategies into local economic activation, the participants may be able to harness and mobilize the local human, social, financial and natural capital towards the common vision, goals and objectives that the community aspires to achieve.
