TGO/CITC Organized the UNFCCC COP 24 Side Event on “Accelerating Readiness and Implementation of NDCs in Southeast Asia - The Role of Regional Capacity Building and Mutual Cooperation”


           On 13 December 2018, Climate Change International Technical and Training Center (CITC) under Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) (TGO) together with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Overseas Environmental Cooperation Center, Japan (OECC) co-organized The UNFCCC COP24 Side Event on “Accelerating Readiness and Implementation of NDCs in Southeast Asia - The Role of Regional Capacity Building and Mutual Cooperation” at Japan Pavilion, Katowice, Poland. The objective of the event, was to promote Capacity Building on Climate Change and CITC’s implementation for ASEAN Counties through North-South and South-South cooperation.


 
         In this regards, Dr.Kurujit Nakornthap, Chirman of the Board, Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization was a Keynoted speaker Dr.Natarika Wayuparb Nitiphon, Deputy Executive Director of TGO was a speaker, Dr. Jakkanit Kanuruk, Director of Climate Change International Technical and Training Center was a moderator. We received honors from speakers from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Overseas Environmental Cooperation Center, Japan (OECC), NDC Partnership and Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES). There were around 40 participants to joined the event.
