CITC organized a Training on “Leadership Perspective on Climate Change in Eastern Economic Corridor Development”


          During on 6-9 March 2018, Climate Change International Technical and Training Center (CITC) under Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) organized a Training on “Leadership Perspective on Climate Change in Eastern Economic Corridor Development”, at Novotel Rayong Rim Pae Resort.



          In this regards, Dr.Natarika Wayuparb Nitiphon, Deputy Executive Director of TGO delivered an opening speech for the training and Dr.Jakkanit Kananurak, Director of CITC reported objectives of the workshop which were to provide knowledge on Climate Change Sustainable and Development and the management policy under Sustainable and Development toward Low Carbon Society as well as Mitigation Mechanism and Measurement, Reporting.



          There were 30 participants from Academic Institution, Center Government, and General Public such as Center of Excellence on Hazardous Substance Management, Department of Environment Quality Promote, Metropolitan Waterworks Authority (Thailand), Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning, Ril 1996 Co. Ltd., and Suan Dusit University.




 
        We received honors from speakers from Chiang Mai University, Chulalongkorn University, Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand, Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning and Office of the National Economics and Social Development Board delivered lectures to participants as well as the Session on “Economics Development Perspective on Climate Change” for exchanging and sharing khowledge on climate change.


 
        On 8 March 2018, The participants went to field trips at Wangchan Forest Learning Center: How to Grow a Prototype Carbon Forest in Rayong.
