During 30-31 May and 6-8 June 2018, Climate Change International Technical and Training Center (CITC) under Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) (TGO) organized The 5th Training Course on “Climate Change Economics” at CITC training room 9th floor, Government Complex.
The objective of the training is to provide khowledge on climate change as well as to develop network for exchanging khowledge and sharing on information climate change economics.
In this regards, Dr.Natarika Wayuparb Nitiphon, Deputy Executive Director of TGO delivered a lecture on “International Negotiations on greenhouse gas reduction” and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chayan Tantivastakarn, Dean of Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University delivered a lecture on market failure from climate change, carbon tax, technology policy and research and development and greenhouse gas reduction, Impact of greenhouse gas measures on economic measures. There were 46 persons from central government academia and private joined the Course such as Department of Trade Negotiations, Royal Irrigation Department, Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning, The Thailand Research Fund, Trade Policy and Strategy Office, The Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industrial and Banking, Thaksin University and SCG Public Company (Limited).
