During 1-3 and 7-9 August 2018, Climate Change International Technical and Training Center (CITC) under Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) (TGO) organized The 2nd Training Course on Climate Change Economics (Intermediate) at TGO training room, 9th floor.
In this regards, Dr.Natarika Wayuparb Nitiphon, Deputy Executive Director of TGO delivered an opening speech for the training.
The objectives of the training are as follow.
1) To provide knowledge on Climate Change Adaptation and tools for Analysis & Evaluation of the Benefits of Climate Change Projects.
2) To be able to apply tools for Analysis & Evaluation of the Benefits of Climate Change Projects.
3) To build network for exchanging and sharing khowledge on climate change economics.
There were 52 persons from central government academia and private joined the course such as Royal Forest Department, Department of Agriculture, Department of Primary Industries and Mines, Thai Industrial Standards Institute, Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning, Forest Industry Organization, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, The Siam Cement Group Company Limited, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited and Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University.
In this regards, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chayun Tantivasadakarn , Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalotorn Kansuntisukmongkol and Asst. Prof .Dr. Pracha Koonnathamdee from Thammasat University delivered lectures to participants.
9th August 2018, the participants presented case Studies of Analysis and Evaluation of the Benefits of Climate Change Projects, In this regards Expert from Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University was providing recommendations and exchanging knowledge & experiences.
