TGO : Launching of Climate Change International Technical and Training Center (CITC)

        On 8th May 2014, Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO has launched the event of Climate Change International Technical and Training Center (CITC) by receiving the honor from Mrs. Prasertsuk Chamornmarn (Executive Director of Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), Mr. Sunthad Somcheevita (Chairman of Climate Change International Technical and Training Center), Mr. Hironori Tsuboi (First Secretary, Japan Embassy), Mr. Shuichi Ikeda (Chief Representative, Japan International Cooperation Agency) Thailand Office), Ms. Natalia Derodofa (Senior Officer, Environment Division, ASEAN Secretariat) in order to provide One-stop Climate Change Technical and Training Center for ASEAN region.

Details: This workshop organized by CITC and JICA will be dedicated to the participants of 12th Workshop on GHG Inventories in Asia (WGIA 12) as a back-to-back event. Leading expert will identify the existing and anticipated barriers and issues that hinder sustainable GHG inventory management, and to explore the possible ways to break through such barriers, such as capacity development through CITC training courses as one of such breakthrough solutions. The workshop objectives are as follows:
